A recent study conducted by researchers from the U.S. found that antibiotics do not help in combating the nasal sinuses. Antibiotics are often prescribed to patients, doctors, but actually, they leave no effect on infection. The results were published in the Journal of the American Medical Association. The results clearly show that there is a need to devise effective treatment for patients with nasal sinuses. It came to light that the use of antibiotics increases the growth of drug-resistant bacteria that have made medical experts concerned. It is difficult to assess for health professionals on how sinusitis was launched. Nasal sinuses can be caused either by bacteria or virus.
